WIU Career, Internship Fairs Planned for Oct. 4-5

MACOMB, IL – The annual Fall Career and Internship Fair at Western Illinois University will begin at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 4 in the University Union Grand Ballroom. The event is open free to WIU students, alumni and the public.

More than 80 companies and organizations will be recruiting at the fair to fill full-time position and internships. A complete list can be found at bit.ly/2dpSXfk.

"Students from all majors are welcome to attend the fair, and all attendees are required to dress professionally and are encouraged to bring copies of their résumés, as well as research the companies they are interested in networking with," said Career Development Center (CDC) Director Martin Kral. "Attendees are also encouraged to meet with a Career Development Center staff member to have their résumés reviewed before the fair."

A resume review walk-in day will be held Monday, Oct. 3 at the Career Development Center, Memorial Hall, room 125.
The Fall Career Fair is sponsored by WIU Career Development Center. For more information, contact WIU's Career Development Center at (309) 298-1838.
In addition, the 20th annual Agriculture Career Fair will be held from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 5 in the Grand Ballroom.

The goal of the fair is to show students the variety of agriculture-related careers available.
