Onlinecolleges.com Gives WIU High Marks

MACOMB, IL/MOLINE, IL -- From Princeton Review to U.S.News to Washington Monthly, Western Illinois University has earned "best" rankings in recent months, and now, onlinecolleges.com has recognized Western as a "Most Affordable Four-Year Online Colleges in Illinois." Western is one of five Illinois public universities recognized.

Western is also ranked fourth out of 12 Illinois public institutions as a "Top Online College," and 375th out of 1,902 four-year public institutions across the U.S.

Rankings are compiled using the lowest in-state tuition costs for degrees. Data was compiled by the Integrated Postsecondary Education Data System, part of the National Center for Education Statistics.

Western Illinois University provides a variety of outstanding undergraduate and graduate degree programs, including 12 renowned signature academic programs in such high demand fields as accountancy, nursing, engineering, agriculture, law enforcement and more, select doctoral programs and a distinguished Honors College.
