Initial First Wednesday Event Set For Sept. 7.

MACOMB, IL – The initial First Wednesday event of the Fall 2016 semester at Western Illinois University will be held from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday Sept. 7 in Garwood Hall, the Heating Plant Annex and the University Art Gallery.

All classes are open free to the public.

This month's events include:

• Printing collographs: Professor Julie Mahoney, Professor Jan Clough, Professor Bill Howard- Garwood 13, 1st floor

• Silkscreen posters: Professor Susan Czechowski - Garwood 16, 1st floor.

• Artmaking for children- Elephant inspired paper crafts: Associate Professor Ta-teh Ku - Garwood 24, 2nd floor.

• Design your own business card: Professor Terry Rathje - Garwood 22, 2nd floor.

• Painting: Professor Tim Waldrop, Professor Damon MacArthur - Garwood 30, 3rd floor.

• Slab building: Professor Ian Shelly, Professor Duke Oursler - HPA 111.

• Copper pendant fabrication: Professor Kat Myers - HPA 107.


The University Art Gallery will also be open.
