WQPT Director of Development Interviews

MOLINE, IL -- Two candidates have been selected to interview for the Western Illinois University WQPT Director of Development position. Both candidates will interview Monday, July 25.

The candidates are Andrew Orrego-Lindstad, director of development for the Second Wind Fund in Lakewood, CO, and Maureen Dickinson, former executive director of advancement and foundation executive director of Carl Sandburg College in Galesburg.

Open sessions will be held on the QC Riverfront campus with each candidate: Orrego-Lindstad, 10:30 a.m., and Dickinson, 3 p.m.

Orrego-Lindstad has served as director of development for the Second Wind Fund since 2014. Previously, he was the program manager for the Colorado Nonprofit Association in Denver (2010-2013), development manager for the Colorado Veterinary Medical Foundation (2008-2010) and donor relations manager for the Louisiana SPCA (2006-2008).

He earned his juris doctorate from the University of South Dakota School of Law, his master's degree from the University of Colorado School of Public Affairs and his bachelor's degree from the University of Wyoming, Laramie.

Dickinson served as executive director of advancement and foundation executive director of Carl Sandburg College from 2014-2015. Previously, she was the Entrepreneurship Center manager for the city of Galesburg (2013-2014), the director of development and communications for The Arc of the Quad Cities Area (2009-2013), senior donor relations officer (2007-2009) and interim director of development (2008) for Catholic Charities of Peoria and associate director of major and planned giving (2006-2007) and assistant director, Knox Fund (2001-2006), Knox College.

She earned her juris doctorate from the IIT Chicago-Kent College of Law and her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois-Urbana-Champaign.
