WIU BOT Elects Officers

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees (BOT) elected officers for July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017 at its June 10 meeting.

Cathy Early, a State Farm agent from Macomb, was elected chair; Yvonne Savala, who works for the executive offices of KJWW Engineering, was elected vice chair, and Roger Clawson, a State Farm agent in Moline, was elected secretary.

Other board members include Todd Lester, community president of Citizen's Bank of Macomb, a division of Morton Community Bank and a Western alumnus; Carolyn Ehlert Fuller of Milan (IL), retired from Deere & Company as executive director of Public Affairs & Program Support, Public Affairs Worldwide; and alumnus Lyneir Cole, a child welfare specialist with Seguin Services in Cicero.

Wil Gradle, a junior economics major and former president of the Student Government Association, was elected by the student body to serve as Western's Board of Trustees student representative from July 1, 2016 to June 30, 2017.
