Danielson Obituary

MACOMB, IL – Services for retired Western Illinois University secretary Jean Danielson, of Colchester, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 26 at the Colchester United Methodist Church. Visitation will be held at 7 p.m. tonight (May 25) at Jones Mortuary in Colchester.
She passed away in Quincy Friday, May 20.
Danielson is a graduate of Western, receiving her bachelor's degree in home economics in 1968 and her master's degree in education and interdisciplinary studies in 1980. She began working at Western in June 1979 and retired as a secretary IV in the Department of Education and Interdisciplinary Studies in June 2001.
Surviving Danielson are her husband, J. Ray; two sons, Mark and Mike; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters.
