Stage Combat Workshop Coming to WIU

MACOMB, IL – A session of the Central Illinois Stage Combat Workshop at Western Illinois University will be open to the public at 11 a.m. Friday, June 3 in Hainline Theatre.

The event will feature the final fight scenes for the Students Society of American Fight Directors Skills Proficiency Tests. Students will be presenting scenes featuring knife and quarter staff fighting styles.

The event is open free to the public and is expected to last 45 minutes.

Students in the workshop are actors of all experience levels. The class is directed by WIU Theatre and Dance Professor DC Wright.
