WIU: Who We Are, What We Do: The O'Neills.

Who We Are: Linda and Dan O'Neill. We are the proud parents of Alec (soon to be married) and Aaron, a college senior. Linda is a lifelong McDonough county resident and I moved to Macomb in 1978. I am a very proud recipient of the 2013 Honorary Alumni Award.

What We Do: We have been very involved in community affairs realizing early on, that Macomb and WIU provide a perfect place to raise a family and spend a lifetime. Our family of friends are very rewarding and allow us smiles and enjoyment every single day.

Linda is a retired travel agent and I spend my days in Industry at Russell Grain. Every now and then you will catch us in the evenings at The Sports Corner @ 124.

Why We Love WIU: Understanding that life is a journey to be made with a lot of help from many people. WIU has provided us with the ability to engage and enjoy the entire campus experience. After all ... life is truly about the kids, young and old. There is not a day that goes by that Western Illinois University does not enter our lives in a positive way. GO NECKS!
