WIU Centennial Honors Scholarship Awarded to Ashley Lefringhouse

MACOMB, IL – High school senior Ashley Lefringhouse, of Liberty, IL, has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Lefringhouse hopes to major in communication sciences and disorders here at WIU.

Lefringhouse was involved with numerous extra-curricular activities during her time in high school. She participated in three sports, National Honor Society, Yearbook Committee and band. She was also secretary of Student Council for four years.
