MACOMB, IL — Additional sidewalk repairs on the Western Illinois University campus are set to begin Tuesday, Nov. 10 (mid morning) near the blue emergency light between Tillman Hall and Memorial Hall. WIU Facilities Management Landscape Maintenance crews anticipate the work on the affected portions of the sidewalk will cause them to be closed for two-three days.

On Thursday, Nov. 12, repairs will also be made to the east/west sidewalk in front of the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall. Crews anticipate the sidewalk in this area to be replaced by Monday, Nov. 16.

Barricades will be in place during the repairs. Pedestrians will need to use alternate routes while the sidewalk areas are closed for repair and are asked to proceed with caution. Inclement weather may affect the timing of either of these projects.
