MACOMB, IL -- Love clothes? Love bargains, especially at no cost? Is it time to clean out your closet? Then the Western Illinois University Fashion Promotions class (ATM 373), which is taught by Family and Consumer Sciences Assistant Professor Susan Creasey, has an event that fashionistas and bargain hunters alike will love.

From 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, students, faculty and staff are invited to bring their gently used (and clean) clothing to the ATM 373 Style Swap taking place in the Union Concourse. As WIU student and event co-coordinator Eve Granack said, "give what you can, take what you need." The event is free and open to the campus community.

"This is a great opportunity to bring clothes you no longer wear and exchange for something new to you," she said.

Clothing donations can also be dropped off in Knoblauch Hall 140 prior to Oct. 28, Granack added. For more information, email EL-Granack@wiu.edu or call the WIU Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality at (309) 298-1085.
