MACOMB, IL- Western Illinois University's Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society and Inter-Hall Council are co-sponsoring the SUPER Blue Light 5K Fun Run beginning at 9 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 7 at WIU's Vince Grady Field.

The SUPER Blue Light 5K Fun Run will promote safety and aid in the fight against domestic and sexual violence. During the run, participants will pass as many emergency blue lights as possible on campus, allowing participants to learn more about the locations of these vital safety tools.

Additionally, participants will wear superhero-inspired costumes to promote the idea that everyone can be a hero to help stop domestic and sexual violence in their community.

Registration is $15 per person, or $12 per person for teams of three-six people.

Participants who register prior to Friday, Oct. 23 will receive a free t-shirt.
