Clark Presentation Rescheduled

MACOMB, IL -- Known as "America's Educator," Ron Clark, the 2000 Disney American Teacher of the Year, will bring his words of wisdom to Western Illinois University Tuesday, Dec. 1 (rescheduled from Sept. 10).

He will speak at 5:45 p.m. in Grand Ballroom. A question-and-answer session will be held following the event, followed by a book signing.

Clark is a New York Times bestselling author ("The Essential 5," "The Excellent 11" and "The End of Molasses Classes: Getting Our Kids Unstuck--101 Extraordinary Solutions for Parents and Teachers"), is the subject of a television movie and the founder of The Ron Clark Academy, an inner-city school serving students from across metro Atlanta. He is regularly featured on network and cable television, and was dubbed by Oprah Winfrey as her first "Phenomenal Man."
