Candidates for Internal Auditor Invited to Campus

MACOMB, IL – Two candidates for the open position of internal auditor at Western Illinois University will be on campus next week to interview with University officials and student leaders.

Michael Sartorius, the current audit manager at WIU, will be on campus Monday-Tuesday, Aug. 24-25 and Brandi Cruz, the internal audit manager at The Warranty Group in Chicago, IL, will be on campus Sunday-Monday Aug. 30-31.

Sartorius will have an open session at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 25 in the University Union Capitol Room. Cruz's session will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, also in the University Union Capitol Room. Both open sessions will be connected to the WIU-Quad Cities campus via video conference.

Prior to coming to Western, Sartorius was an audit manager at Central State Bank in Keokuk, IA, and a loan review and credit analyst and assistant internal auditor at MidAmerica National Bank in Macomb. He received his bachelor's degree in business from Western Illinois University.

Prior to Cruz's work at The Warranty Group, she was a senior internal auditor for the company and a senior audit associate for Ernst and Young, LLP in Chicago. She received her associate degree from Muscatine Community College and her bachelor's degree in business from Western Illinois University.
