University Union Open House Aug. 13

MACOMB, IL – An open house to highlight the special event capabilities of the University Union at Western Illinois University will be held from 3:30-5:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 13 in the Union's Lamoine Room.

The Union offers convenient facilities for weddings, conferences, business meetings, special events, receptions and catered meals.

The open house will include a sampling of appetizers, entrees and desserts from WIU Catering by Sodexo's three catering brochures: Shoestring Catering, Community Catering and the new 2015 Catering Brochure. Beer and wine will also be available for purchase.

The event will also feature a tour of the venues available within the Union, including the Grand Ballroom, Heritage Room, Lamoine Room, Capitol Room and Lincoln Room.

Free parking is available in the Knoblauch Hall parking lot, and the event is open free to the public.
