'Best Week Ever' Events Coming to WIU

MACOMB, IL – The University Union Board (UUB) will host the "Best Week Ever 2015," Monday-Saturday, March 2-7.

The schedule of events includes:

• Monday, March 2
6 p.m. – WIU Trivia Night, University Union Lamoine Room. Teams of up to five people will compete to win WIU-themed prizes. Teams can register by visiting Purple Post, or by emailing cl-keefauver@wiu.edu.

• Tuesday, March 3
8 p.m. – Screening of the film "Horrible Bosses 2," University Union Sandburg Theatre. Popcorn and doughnuts will be provided.

• Wednesday, March 4
7 p.m. – Concert by country music artist Chase Rice – University Union Grand Ballroom. Tickets are sold out, but there are still opportunities to win tickets and meet and greet passes at the Monday and Tuesday events or by listening to 101.7 The Bull.

• Thursday, March 5
7 p.m. – R.J. Mitte from the television show "Breaking Bad" will speak in the University Union Heritage Room. He will share personal stories and talk about disability awareness. There will be an open meet and greet after his talk. Students who attend the event are eligible for Lead Series credit.

• Friday, March 6
9 p.m. – Open Mic Night, WIU Multicultural Center. Students can sign up to perform at the door. There will be a raffle for prizes.

To close out the week, the UUB will bring doughnuts to the Dance Marathon Saturday, March 7. The marathon runs from noon to midnight in the University Union Grand Ballroom. Pre-registration is required and can be completed at tinyurl.com/wiudm15.
