Martin Awarded Centennial Honors Scholarship

MACOMB, IL – Western School District High School senior Madison Martin, of Hull, IL, has been selected for Western Illinois University's Centennial Honors Scholarship, which awards $10,000 per year to academically high-achieving students.

High school students with an ACT score of 30 or higher and a grade point average of 3.0 or higher are eligible for the scholarship.

Martin said she expects to major in music therapy at Western.

At Western, Martin would like to be part of the music and drama programs.

In high school, Martin participated in student council, National Honor Society, quiz bowl, drama club, chorus, marching and concert bands and winter and marching color guard flag teams.
