BOT Meeting Set for Dec. 19

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will consider the final report from the WIU Open Access Task Force and a collective bargaining agreement for the International Union of Operating Engineers Local 399 (Mechanical Maintenance/Heating Plant Unit) at the Friday, Dec. 19 Board meeting in the University Union Capitol Rooms on the Macomb campus.
The WIU Board meeting will begin at 8 a.m., with a scheduled executive session in accordance with the provisions of the Open Meetings Act. The open meeting will begin at approximately 9 a.m., following the executive session.
Other items on the Board agenda include an honorary doctorate nomination and the annual auditing department charter.
The Board will also hear reports on enrollment, retention and graduation rates, FY'15 performance, facility assessment, the FY'15 master plan and long term planning.
In addition, the Board will discuss admissions at the Board dinner Thursday, Dec. 18 in Thompson Hall. No action will be taken.
