Tracey Awarded WIU President's Scholarship

MACOMB, IL - High school senior Killian Tracey, of Geneva, IL, has been awarded a President's Scholarship to Western Illinois University, which covers four years of tuition, fees and residence hall room and board at the school.

Tracey plans to major in forensic chemistry at Western. In high school she was involved in a variety of activities including tennis, soccer, SADD club, volunteering at her local hospital, National English Honor Society, National Spanish Honor Society and numerous others.

After graduation from WIU, Tracey plans to pursue a career as a forensic chemist.

The Western Illinois University President's Scholarship Fund provides scholarships each year to students at the University. To qualify for one of the four annual scholarships, students must have a minimum ACT score of 30 and have already received WIU's Centennial Commitment Scholarship. Decisions on scholarship winners are made after the finalists come to campus for interviews.
