Geography Awareness Week is Nov. 17-21 at WIU

MACOMB, IL - The Western Illinois University Department of Geography will host a variety of activities for Geography Awareness Week, Monday-Friday, Nov. 17-21.

All events are open free to the public and include:

• Monday, Nov. 17 - Wednesday, Nov. 19 - 9 a.m.-4 p.m.:
Geography/GIS Faculty/Student Research Exhibit- Tillman Hall, 301F

• Tuesday, Nov. 18 7-8:30p.m.:
Guest speaker Associate Professor Dagmar Budikova, from the Department of Geography/Geology at Illinois State University, will present "Warm-Season North American Extreme Surface Air Temperature Relationships to Arctic Sea Ice Conditions" - Union Sandburg Theater

• Wednesday, Nov. 19 11:30 a.m.-3 p.m
Reception for Geography/GIS Faculty/Student Research Exhibit- Tillman Hall 301F
