MOLINE, IL - This year's "The Big Picture" was recently taken on the Western Illinois University-Quad Cities campus. The purpose of the annual photograph is to show support and create more awareness and understanding of the GLBT community.

"The Big Picture" is open to gay, lesbians, bisexual and transgendered students, faculty, staff and community members, along with their family, friends and allies.

"This is a great way to show support and create more awareness and understanding of the diversity we have on our campus and in our community," said Joe Rives, vice president for Quad Cities and Planning. "Thanks to all who made it to 'The Big Picture.' We look forward to another photo next year."
