MACOMB, IL -- Sixty-eight degrees and sunny is the forecast for the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 16, which is the perfect weather for a fall festival.

Western Illinois University's Marketing Club will host a Fall Fest from 1:30-4:30 p.m. Thursday behind Stipes Hall on the WIU-Macomb campus. To celebrate the spirit of the season there will be free games - a pumpkin ring toss and pumpkin seed throw - and the Marketing Club will sell pumpkin pie, apple cider and hot chocolate to raise funds for the club.

As part of the celebration fundraiser, students can donate for one of three "lucky" marketing faculty members to get a pie in the face. Donation jars will be set up for students to determine which professor -- Jim Kenny, Mandeep Singh or Donna Wiencek -- gets "pied." This event will take place around 3 p.m.

"We hope the campus community takes advantage of the beautiful weather forecasted for Thursday to come out for some fun activities, while supporting the Marketing Club," Singh said.
