Society of Human Resource Management Renews WIU Alignment

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University's College of Business and Technology (CBT) announced the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) association has renewed its alignment with the WIU Department of Management and Marketing's human resource management bachelor's degree program.
Throughout the world, only 355 programs in 264 educational institutions have been acknowledged by SHRM as being alligned with its suggested guidelines. The guidelines define the minimum human resources content areas that should be studied by students at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
The goal of Western's chapter is to professionally advance members by providing leadership opportunities, human resources knowledge, professional speakers, seminars, company tours, conferences and several other hands-on experiences for members.
