Fall Choral Concert at WIU is Oct. 4

MACOMB, IL - As part of Western Illinois University's Homecoming celebration, Saturday, Oct. 4, the WIU Madrigal Singers and University Singers will present a fall choral concert, "WATER." The concert, conducted by music Professor James Stegall, begins at 7:30 p.m. in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
"The concert is meant to recognize how water is an extremely powerful element that permeates our lives in many ways," said Stegall. "In fact, being near rivers and lakes, as we are in rural Illinois, often invokes spiritual experiences that prove soothing to the body, mind and soul."
