First Tee Participant Named Scholar of the First Tee

MACOMB, IL – A participant from The First Tee of Western Illinois University program has been chosen as a Scholar of the First Tee – Class of 2014.

With the designation, Hailea Hadsall, of Macomb, was awarded the $10,000 Susan H. Williams Scholarship.

Each of the scholars is a teen who excels in academics, leadership, character development and chapter and community involvement.

Hadsall, a graduate of Macomb High School, has been an active participant in The First Tee of Western Illinois University for more than 10 years, playing a mentor role in the local program. She was previously chosen to attend The First Tee Nine Healthy Habits Summit in California earlier this year.
