Senior Olympics at WIU April 25-26

MACOMB, IL – The deadline to enter the Western Illinois Senior Olympics, hosted by Western Illinois University April 25-26, is Friday, April 18.
Interested seniors can register using the downloadable registration form (PDF) at www.wiu.edu/coehs/kinesiology/seniorolympics/documents/2014%20SO%20Entries%20Packet.pdf.
The Senior Olympics provides participants the opportunity to test skills in a competitive arena that will recognize them for preparation, performance and continued desire to lead a healthy lifestyle. Awards will be given to participants who finish in first, second and third place in each event category.
The entry fee is $5 per event or $10 for two or more events. T-shirts are available for $10 or polo shirts are $18.
Athletes must provide their own athletic equipment that must reach NSGA standards. More information about events, parking, food and housing can be found at wiu.edu/seniorolympics/.
