Technology Maintenance Scheduled for December and January

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL - University Technology will be performing maintenance on several systems that will affect both the Macomb and Quad Cities campuses before the start of the Spring 2014 semester.

On Saturday, Dec. 28, as part of the ongoing Morgan Hall Data Center renovation on the Macomb campus, select online systems will be unavailable from 8 a.m. until approximately 8 p.m. Inaccessible systems on Dec. 28 include:

• Windows servers
• Zimbra (intermittent unavailability)
• Some wiu.edu web pages
• Other web servers
• P: drive (Macomb only)
• S: drive (Macomb only)
• Other minor systems

WIUP, STARS and Western Online will remain accessible

On Friday, Jan. 3, Zimbra will be unavailable for a planned upgrade. This maintenance is expected to last from approximately 7 p.m. until the early hours of Saturday, Jan. 4.
