Town Hall Meeting for F/S Today

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL -- Western Illinois University President Jack Thomas will host a town hall meeting today (Oct. 2) to give WIU faculty and staff the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback regarding University operations, programs and more.
Thomas will open the meeting with an update on the many initiatives currently underway, and the challenges facing Western. He will then open the floor for open dialogue and questions.
Town hall meetings with faculty and staff will be held at 11 a.m. today in the Goldfarb Atrium on the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront campus, and at 4 p.m. in the University Union Prairie Lounge.
A town hall meeting for students was held at Sept. 17.
Western employees may be granted release time to attend the presentations. The availability of release time will be evaluated by supervisors based on maintaining essential staffing levels in campus operations.
