Blood Drive to be Held Aug. 28 & 29

MACOMB, IL - - The Western Illinois University Civil Service Employees Council will sponsor an American Red Cross blood drive from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 and Thursday, Aug. 29 in the University Union Heritage room. Photo ID is required.
First-time donors are encouraged to attend, as well as anyone who has ever donated and those who may be eligible to donate. Regular donors who have not given blood since July 3 or 4, 2013 are eligible to donate. Walk-ins are welcome.
Afraid of needles? You are not alone. The Red Cross website offers a lot of tips for first time donors. Visit redcrossblood.org for more information for a successful donation.
