Board of Trustees Retreat July 11-12

MACOMB, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees will conduct a board retreat Thursday-Friday, July 11-12 on the WIU-Macomb campus.
A campus tour will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, July 11, followed by a working dinner at 6 p.m. at the Art Gallery. Topics to be discussed include the campus facilities, Western's year in review and the roles/responsibilities of the board. July 11 activities are scheduled to adjourn at 8 p.m.
A day-long retreat will begin at 8 a.m. Friday, July 12 at the WIU Multicultural Center. Topics to be covered include president's and vice presidents' reports, including challenges and goals, strategic planning for fiscally challenging times, board goals and presidential evaluation guidelines. The retreat is scheduled to adjourn at 4 p.m.
Board of Trustees meetings are open to the public in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act. The full agenda is available at wiu.edu/bot. No action items are on the Board's retreat agenda.
The next regular board meeting will be held Friday, Oct. 11 on Western's Macomb campus.
