BOT Elects Officers

MOLINE, IL -- The Western Illinois University Board of Trustees (BOT) elected officers at its June 7 meeting for the July 1, 2013 through June 30, 2014 year.

Cathy Early, a State Farm agent from Macomb, was elected chair.

Carolyn Ehlert Fuller of Milan (IL), retired from Deere & Company as executive director of Public Affairs & Program Support, Public Affairs Worldwide, was elected vice chair.

Alumnus Lyneir Cole, a child welfare specialist in Chicago was elected secretary.

Bill Epperly, the president and owner of Stoneage Marketing in Chicago and a Western alumnus; Phil Hare, former U.S. Representative for the 17th Congressional District; Yvonne Savala, operations director at Midwest Intellectual Property Management Institute; and Roger Clawson, a State Farm agent in Moline, also serve as members of Western's Board of Trustees.

Andre Ashmore, a law enforcement and justice administration major from Chicago, was elected by the student body to serve as Western's Board of Trustees student representative from July 1, 2013 to June 30, 2014.
