MACOMB, IL -- And the winner is .... Connie Gentes, a collection assistant manager in the Billing and Receivables Office at Western Illinois University.

Gentes correctly guessed 16 of the 21 locations of the purple chair as part of a "The Purple Chair" contest that was held during the month of March to celebrate the University Television original series' debut. A photo was posted each weekday at www.facebook.com/thepurplechair.wiu, and contest participants had to guess each location of the chair. She will receive a "purple prize package," including a framed purple chair photo of her choice and a photo of herself in the chair at a location of her choice.

The second episode of "The Purple Chair" featuring Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi, will air beginning Thursday, April 18 on local cable Channel 3 (Comcast subscribers; Channel 9, MTC subscribers), at 6 p.m. An encore presentation will be shown at 10 p.m. April 18.
