Students to Serve Administrative Professional Day Lunch

MACOMB, IL - Students in Western Illinois University's Department of Dietetics, Fashion Merchandising and Hospitality will host "Sunshine in the Office Picnic," a luncheon planned for Wednesday, April 24.
The event, part of the celebration of Administrative Professional's Day, will be held in the University Union Grand Ballroom from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Tickets for the event are $12 each and must be purchased in advance at the University Union Office of Conference and Event Services or by calling (309) 298-2421.
The lunch menu includes garlic lemon chicken, spinach and lemon orzo and springtime spaghetti.
This annual event provides students in a DFMH catering class, taught by Associate Professor Sheryl Boston, with a hands-on learning experience in planning and the execution of a professional catering event. Students created a theme for the event and then developed the menu, the décor and entertainment.
