Trustee Appointments

MACOMB/MOLINE, IL -- Gov. Pat Quinn has announced appointments to Western Illinois University's Board of Trustees.

Trustee appointments include Yvonne Savala of Moline, the operations director at the Midwest Intellectual Property Management Institute; WIU alumnus Roger Clawson, a State Farm agent, of Moline; and Carolyn Ehlert Fuller, who is retired from Deere & Company as director of Public Affairs & Program Support, Public Affairs Worldwide, of Milan (re-appointment).

Other trustees include Lyneir Cole, a law enforcement and justice administration alumnus from Chicago and member of the WIU Alumni Council; alumnus Bill Epperly, owner of Stoneage Marketing in Chicago; Cathy Early, a State Farm agent, of Macomb; and Phil Hare, former U.S. Representative for the 17th Congressional District. D'Angelo Taylor, a WIU student, will serve as the student trustee through June 30, 2013.

Outgoing Trustees Donald "Bill" Griffin, geography professor emeritus, of Macomb, and Michael Houston, mayor of Springfield, will be recognized at the March 29 Board of Trustees meeting for their years of service.
