WIU Guitar Ensemble Nov. 29

MACOMB, IL - - Western Illinois University School of Music Classical Guitar and Jazz Guitar Ensembles will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29 in the College of Fine Arts and Communication (COFAC) Recital Hall.
The Classical Guitar Ensemble's program includes "Lesson for Two Lutes," "Awake Sweet Love," by John Dowland, "Chorale-Chorale and Bourree," by J.S. Bach, "Aria," by Domenico Scarlatti, "Bourree, Minuet and Gavotte," by G.F. Handel, "Allegro," by F.J. Haydn, "Sonatina," by Thomas Attwood" and "Duet in G Major" by Fernando Carulli.
The Jazz Guitar Ensemble will perform "Four," by Miles Davis, "Stolen Moments," Oliver Nelson, "Briar Patch," by Jack McDuff, "The Chicken," by Pee Wee Ellis and "Man Jody's Cold" and "Farmboy Funk" by Justin Haynes.
The concert is open free to the public.
