Election History Discussion to Air on Local Cable Channels Saturday

MACOMB, IL – A broadcast of an Oct. 3 election discussion at Western Illinois University will be played on area cable channels twice on Saturday, Nov. 3.

"The 2012 Presidential Election: Historians' Perspectives" will air at 10:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. on channel 3 for Macomb area Comcast subscribers and channel 9 for McDonough Telephone Cooperative subscribers.

Produced by University Television, the brown bag discussion broadcast includes faculty members from WIU's history department talking about the upcoming election and Richard Filipink, Peter Cole and Robert Mazza serving as commentators.
