Language is an important part of our everyday interactions; in fact it guides how we communicate with others and how others perceive us. Over time, some words undergo a metamorphosis from their initial purpose, to something loaded with new meaning. Sometimes this process can change a harmless word into something that is derogatory and offensive and vice versa.

The focus of this campaign is to educate people about the etymology of the words we use today so people can think about the impact of our words, choose the words that best articulate our thoughts, and act with those words to educate others about how their language impacts others.

Our challenge to you all is to, “Think, Choose, Act”. How will you join the campaign and be catalyst for change to help make this world a better place?
