The School of Music awards in excess of $300,000 each year to students through
scholarships, talent grants, and tuition waivers. Currently, the highest individual
award possible is $24,000 over a four-year period. The awards range from $500 to
$6,000 per year and are renewable through eight semesters based on satisfactory performance. All recipients of music scholarships, talent grant awards, and tuition waivers, are expected to participate in two School of Music performing ensembles each semester. All students, regardless of major, are eligible by audition to be considered for these awards.
