Based at the Institute of Irish Studies at Queen’s University in Belfast, this Study Abroad Course combines on-site classroom instruction with excursions to give you a fuller picture of Northern Ireland. Your on-site lectures are taught in an interdisciplinary approach by leading academics from various departments at Queen’s University, including history, Irish studies, management, English, and politics. Outside experts present additional information on various topics, both in lectures and site visits. Your evening activities include Irish dancing, music, and cinema. No matter your major or areas of interest, Northern Ireland has something for you.
UNIV 379 (3 hrs) and HIST 379 (3 hrs) will be taught by Dr. Jennifer McNabb and Queen’s University staff.
