Study Abroad Medical Report Form - European Business Study

Program overview:

In today’s economy, you must have an understanding of how businesses operate in different countries and how cultural differences affect the business world.  This Study Abroad Course concentrates on British and French practices in particular.  You will experience life and work cultures different from that found in the United States by visiting business enterprises, governmental organizations, and cultural sites in London and Paris.  By comparing U.S. customs to the other cultures and comparing the foreign cultures to each other, you may challenge assumptions about your own culture.

The Course begins n London.  While there, you’ll learn about British culture and history through visits to the Tower of London, Parliament, Westminster Abbey, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and other popular sites.  Visits to the Bank of England and other business ventures provide insight into British business culture.  After four days in London, the Course shifts to Paris.  French business practices are explored through visits to IBM and other companies while French culture and history is discovered through visits to Notre Dame, Versailles, the Eiffel Tower, and many others.
