SGA President to Present State of Student Address

Western Illinois University Student Government Association (SGA) President Grant Reed will present a State of the Student Address at 3 p.m. Tuesday, April 10 in the Sherman Hall Auditorium (third floor). Other speakers include SGA Speaker of the Senate Patrick Quinlan and WIU Student Trustee Wil Gradle.

WIU Employee Recognition Reception Set for May 1

The 35th annual Employee Recognition Reception will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 1 in the University Union Lamoine Room. The reception is to honor employees who have completed 10-45 years of service to Western Illinois University.

The Western Illinois University Office of Public Safety (OPS) will host "Coffee with a Cop" from 9-11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11 in the University Union Concourse.

The annual "Stuff the Bus, Get Off Your Cans" food drive will be held from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 11.

WIU's Visual Production Center Expands Services

When the Visual Production Center began as "Learning Resources" on the Western Illinois University campus in the late 1950s/early 1960s, services were limited to campus photography (using film and the darkroom process) and a graphic arts unit, where sets and other graphic materials were designed and built by hand. Today, VPC is a full service digital photography and large format shop on the WIU-Macomb campus, with numerous services provided to campus and community alike.
