WIU-QC Receives Art Donation from KONE
Elevator and escalator manufacturer KONE recently donated a portion of its historic art collection to Western Illinois University in honor of the recent Quad Cities campus Phase II expansion.

Western Veterans and Service Members Invited to Develop Literary Magazine
"Veteran's Voices: Personal Stories of Combat and Peace" will become a literary magazine later this semester, once veterans and service members submit their creative contributions for the project.
Women's Art Exhibit Seeks Entries
The Western Illinois University Women's Center is seeking entries for the March 2015 "Women's Art: Women's Vision Art Exhibit." Female artists wishing to participate must complete and return submission forms by noon Wednesday, Feb. 25.

Western Illinois University's inaugural performance of playwright Eve Ensler's "A Memory, A Monologue, A Rant, and A Prayer" (MMRP) will be held on the Macomb campus Thursday-Saturday, Feb. 19-21 as part of the V-Day 2015 campaign.

Western Illinois University Libraries is sponsoring the 10th annual WIU Author Recognition Reception in late April. Faculty, staff (including retired faculty or staff members) and students who published during the 2014 calendar year are encouraged to complete the Libraries' author submission form by Friday, March 13.
