Gov. Pat Quinn announced a $5 million investment for the Phase III of the Western Illinois University-Quad Cities Riverfront campus in Moline.

Students, faculty and staff at Western Illinois University's Knoblauch Cafe will honor United States POW/MIAs, U.S. military personnel who were taken as prisoners or are listed as missing in action, next week on Veterans Day.

Assistant Professor of Communication Lance Brendan Young is part of a research team which received a nearly $100,000 grant to train clinical staff at substance use disorder treatment programs at three VA hospitals in the Midwest.
