Relay for Life of WIU Set for April 12

Relay for Life of WIU is slated to take place 6 p.m. Friday, April 12 through 6 a.m. Saturday, April 13 on the WIU-Macomb campus.

Open Forums with President Thomas April 16

Come hear President Thomas give an overview of the University's current situation and his assessment of the higher education environment in Illinois. A Q&A period will follow his comments in the Capitol Rooms, University Union 11 a.m. & 3:30 p.m. CODEC Connection at 11a.m. to Room 120 Riverfront campus and at 3:30 p.m. to Room 115 at 60th street campus.

Tech Fest 2013 at WIU Set for April 24

This event highlighted the innovations in teaching, research and creative activities from across campus and disseminated the same across disciplines. The program included a Faculty Showcase, presentations by active researches and a pedagogy panel, comprised of practitioners of this year's theme, "Leveraging Social Media."

Quesal to Retire from WIU May 31

Donna Quesal, an instructor in Western Illinois University's Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders, will retire May 31 after 22 years of service.

Stout to Retire from WIU May 31

A retirement reception for Patrick Stout will be held from 3-5 p.m. Friday, May 3 at the Multicultural Center. The reception is open free to the public.

WIU-QC English Professor Named Fulbright Scholar, Senior Lecturer to Germany

Associate Professor of English Daniel Malachuk has been appointed to serve as a Fulbright Senior Lecturer in Germany.

Mary Katherine Welch, 72, of Macomb, IL, passed away on Friday. March 29.
