School Safety: Active Shooter Threats to Schools and Their Communities May 3
The WIU School of Law Enforcement and Justice Administration will be presenting a conference that will cover red flag behaviors, history, policy and protocols in the event of an active shooter incident.
Benefits Choice Meetings May 6 and 7
Benefits Choice meetings will be held on Monday, May 6 and Tuesday, May 7, 2013 in the Union Grand Ballroom at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. A table fair for CMS Group Insurance Division Staff and Insurance Company Representatives will be held on May 6 only. Several changes will occur July 1, 2013. All employees are strongly encouraged to attend. A separate meeting for retirees will be held on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. in the Annex of the Wesley United Methodist Church, 1212 West Calhoun St., Macomb, IL. All retirees are strongly encouraged to attend this meeting.

Won Moo Hurh, 80, Western Illinois University's first Distinguished Faculty Lecturer and retired sociology professor passed away April 12 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
