For the fourth consecutive year, Western Illinois University has been selected as a "Best for Vets College" by Military Times EDGE magazine.
WIU-QC Achieves LEED Certification

Go West 20 Millionth Rider Nov. 18
You are invited to attend the 20 millionth Go West rider celebration at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18 at the Macomb Transit Center on East Pierce Street. Go West Director Jude Kiah expects the 20 millionth rider to board a Go West bus on or around Nov. 15. The lucky rider will be recognized at the Nov. 18 ceremony.
Affirmative Action Administrative Internship Program: Employee Fall Interest Meeting Dec. 6
The Affirmative Action Administrative Internship Committee (AAAIC) will be hosting the fall interest meeting to provide information about the internship program and answer any questions you may have in the University Union Fox Room on Dec. 6 from noon-2 p.m.

Tri States Public Radio's Celebration Concert Series Dec. 7 concert will feature the jazz duo, Petra van Nuis and Andy Brown.
University Union Service Center Temporarily Moved
Due to the renovation project in the University Union, the University Union Service Center will move to a temporary location on the first floor of the University Union beginning Monday, Nov. 25. They will be located in the former ticket office across from the Office of Student Activities. They hope to be moved back to the regular location by Jan. 13.
Angel Tree Program
For the 20th consecutive year, Western Illinois University's accountancy honorary Beta Alpha Psi (BAP) and the Department of Accounting and Finance are sponsoring the Angel Tree Program.

Bahr Named November Employee of the Month
Bob Bahr, a physical science technical assistant in the WIU Department of Chemistry, has been named the Al and Elaine Goldfarb Civil Service Employee of the Month for November.
Health Plan Meetings Set for Medicare A & B Eligible State Retirees/Dependents
United Health Care representatives and Central Management System representatives will host a series of open enrollment meetings throughout the state, including in Macomb, regarding state retiree health plans for Medicare A & B Eligible State Retirees/Dependents.
Former secretary to the Western Illinois University provost, registrar and freshman admissions office Pauline I. "Polly" Chatterton, 93, of Macomb, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 6 in Macomb.
