The official ribbon-cutting and grand opening of the WIU-Quad Cities Riverfront Campus on River Drive in Moline took place Jan. 17.

Macomb Campus Master Plan Forums
Three firms will be on the WIU-Macomb campus as part of the Quality Based Selection (QBS) process to select a firm to provide an update to the Macomb Campus Master Plan.

Building service worker Marsha Grotts has been chosen as the 2011 Civil Service Employee of the Year.
Fecht Named January Employee of the Month of January
Holly Fecht, assistant chief accountant at Western Illinois University, has been named the school's January Civil Service Employee of the Month.

Ken Mietus and Chris Adamski-Mietus have established an endowment to provide scholarship assistance to outstanding graduate students in their pursuit of a master's degree in sociology
