MTV I Used to be Fat Trainer Come to Western
Western Illinois University will be hosting MTV’s “I Used to be Fat” trainer Joey Gloor October 2-4. Gloor we be teaching students how to avoid gaining the “freshman 15”.
Gloor will be in the dining centers teaching people what foods are better to eat. Tuesday he will be in the north-dining center from 6-7:30. On Wednesday he will be helping with lunch in the west dining center, and on Thursday he will do lunch in the COOL Commons.
Along with teaching better eating habits Gloor will be holding workout seminars. His programs are set up to help people at any fitness level. He will be at the rec along with going to Tanner and Corbin hall for mini workouts. Students who participate in his sessions are entered to win a free one-on-one training session at the rec with him, which will take place on October 4th.
Gloor’s tentative schedule:
Tuesday, Oct. 2
6-7:30 p.m. — Dinner at North Dining (Bayliss-Henninger)
Wednesday, Oct. 3
8:30-9:30 a.m. — Interactive Lifting Session at Spencer Recreation Center (Contact Kelley Popkin at KA-Popkin@wiu.edu)
11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.—Lunch in West Dining (Thompson Hall)
1-1:45 p.m.—How to get a Whole Body workout… in less than 30 minutes at Tanner Circle
2-3 p.m.—Healthy Living Recreation Fair at the Spencer Student Recreation Center

Thursday, Oct. 4
noon-1 p.m.—Lunch in COOL Commons (Corbin-Olsen)
