20th Annual Smokin' Hog

The Alpha Gamma Rho fraternity will be hosting their annual fundraiser on Saturday October 6^th. The 20^th anniversary of Smokin’ Hog will feature a hog roast followed by a social event.

The event is family-friendly and all members of the Western Illinois campus, Macomb, and surrounding communities are invited. Tickets are $5 in advance and $7 at the door, while children under 5 are free.

The fundraiser will begin at 11 a.m. and go until 5 p.m. The dinner includes pulled pork and sides. The event will also feature a number of family activities including face painting, bounce houses, raffles, and more.

Tickets can be purchased by calling (563) 260-7721 or at Minus Muffler, 121 N. Prairie Ave.

Last year’s event raised $9,000. Members of the fraternity hope this year will also be a success. All proceeds will be donated to the Macomb Volunteers Interested in Benefitting Everyone organization.
