"Study with the Masters" at Western Illinois University
The primary purpose of the Summer Music Institute at Western Illinois University is to provide the best possible educational opportunity to young people for individual development in the knowledge, practice, and appreciation of the fine art of music in a nurturing musical environment. Any returning camper receives a reduced camp fee! This year, we will assemble our first ever whole-camp choir. All students from the SMI choir and band will meet for one hour each day to learn a piece or two for the final concert. This experience is both musically and socially important for our camp students!
